Is DB&T Online Banking safe?

With our use of state of the art encryption and firewalls, as well as personalized IDs and Passwords, this service is both convenient and safe.

How do I sign up for this service?

Print off the Online Banking Application, fill it out and return it to your local branch office or come into or contact any of our branch locations and ask for an application.

What are the browser requirements?

Internet Banking supports Netscape Communicator 4.7 T and higher and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 T and higher. AOL and other browsers need to verify that your version supports 128-bit encryption.

How do I log on for the first time?

Once your application is processed, you will receive a letter explaining the service as well as instructions on how to sign on. A temporary password and your ID will also be enclosed.

What happens if I forget to log off of the system?

To further enhance security, log-in sessions have a time-out limit. If you are logged in for 10 consecutive minutes without activity, you will automatically be logged out and will be required to log in again to resume banking.

Can I download my bank account information into my financial software package?

Yes, with such programs as Microsoft® Money .OFX format), Intuit® Quicken (.QFX format), and Intuit® Quickbooks (.IIF format), your account information can be easily downloaded from Internet Banking! Your account information can also be downloaded as a text file or into a spreadsheet.

Who can I pay?

You can pay ANYONE in the United States from the next door neighbor, to the utility company, to the bank, and even a child in college across the country!

From which accounts can I pay bills?

BillPayer is available to customers who will be paying their bills from a checking account.

How long does it take for the money to come out of my account?

Electronic Transactions come out of your account at the end of the business day in which you enter the transaction as long as the transaction is posted by 1pm. Otherwise, it will be transferred on the next business day. If a transaction is to be paid by check, the check is cut in the same time frame that the electronic transactions take place but are not deducted from your account until presented for payment by the payee.
