What we are doing
DB&T is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation. We care deeply about the communities we serve and we continue to review recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Our team is continually evaluating and updating our response strategy when needed.
To prevent the spread of this virus our branch lobbies are temporarily closed and we are servicing customers through our drive-up only. Customers who need in-person assistance can call (800) 639-8381 to make an appointment. We are taking additional precautionary measures at all of our locations including regular sanitizing of high touch points, enhanced and increased cleaning protocols and making changes in work areas so that our employees can practice safe distancing. We are also continuously reevaluating ways that we can better serve our employees and customers.
We are still here for you
If you are practicing social distancing you can access your accounts through our Online, Mobile and Telephone Banking and ATMs. Our Mobile Deposit feature on our Mobile App and our Night Deposit are available if you’d like to make a deposit. To ensure your payments are made on time utilize our BillPay feature on our Online and Mobile Banking to pay your bills or friends and family members, request payments, or send gift checks or donations. If you have any questions or concerns please call our Customer Service Line at (800) 639-8381 during business hours.
Please be alert to an increase of scammers that will be looking to take advantage of as many people as they can in times like these. Most people are already feeling overwhelmed and looking for assistance and can potentially be more easily preyed on because of it. We will never ask you to provide your full social security number, passwords, or PINS over the phone or email. Please check out consumer advice on The Federal Trade Commission’s website. Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
We are currently reviewing the final rules and guidance from the SBA and will be accepting applications soon for PPP loans. There are some steps you can take now so you are ready when the application process opens. We expect funding to go quickly due to the increasing need from small businesses. Since DB&T accounts will not officially convert to Bangor Savings Bank until the weekend of 1/29/21, we strongly encourage any business that is interested in applying for PPP funding to open a business deposit account with Bangor Savings Bank as soon as possible. A Bangor Savings Bank business deposit account is required to complete our online PPP application process. To open an account, please fill out our dedicated PPP Open A Business Account form to get started. Please note that former DB&T branches will be unable to open Bangor Savings Bank deposit accounts until February 1st.
When available, we will open our new online application portal which will provide customers an efficient and safe way to apply for funding. Please be sure to check our dedicated PPP resource page often for updates.
